From February 9 to 13, 2026, the 19th Informal Working Group (ADS IWG) meeting and the 14th Workshop (ADS Workshop) on Automated Driving Systems under the Automated Driving and Connected Vehicles Working Group (GRVA) of the United Nations World Forum for Harmonization of Vehicle Regulations (UN/WP.29) were held in Shanghai. Additionally, experts attending the meeting were organized to visit the Shanghai International Automobile City EV-AI Intelligent Mobility Port, the Shanghai Automobile Museum, and related enterprises for exchange and observation. They experienced test rides in multiple vehicles equipped with combined driver assistance and automated driving systems, allowing experts from various countries to gain an intuitive understanding and firsthand experience of China's intelligent connected vehicle technology and industrial development achievements.

The successful convening of this meeting further deepened China's international exchanges and cooperation in the field of automated driving and connected vehicle regulatory harmonization.
